Designing a More Immersive Digital Experience for Toffeln

At Absolute Nexa, we pride ourselves on delivering digital solutions that don’t just look good, but actively help our clients grow. Our recent collaboration with Toffeln, a leading healthcare footwear and equipment brand, is a perfect example of how design and brand strategy can work hand in hand to transform the way a business connects with its customers.

The Challenge

Toffeln approached us with a clear objective: to refresh their B2B website, which acts as a buying guide for hospital and distributor customers. The site needed to do three key things:

1. Reflect the updated brand identity

Toffeln had recently evolved their brand with our support from the Absolute Brand team, and the website needed to carry that modern, professional image consistently.

2. Enhance the user experience

Particularly for busy hospital buyers, the navigation and product discovery needed to be intuitive and straightforward.

3. Increase awareness of non-footwear products

Toffeln is best known for footwear, but their wider product range deserved equal visibility. This built on the earlier work we’d done together on the Toffeln rebrand. Through a process of discovery workshops, market insight, and brand repositioning, Absolute Agency helped them evolve into a confident healthcare partner - “Healthcare Ready” became not just a strapline, but a strategic intent. The website redesign was the next step in taking that vision online.

Our Approach

The revised design approach shifted from a product-first structure to a brand-first narrative. We introduced:

  • Immersive hero visuals that tell a story, rather than just showcasing products.
  • Layered content sections that break away from rigid, grid-like layouts, encouraging users to explore as they scroll.
  • Blending lifestyle and action imagery with product shots, bringing energy and real-world context to the range.
  • Subtle interactivity and animation opportunities, carefully considered so they can be implemented smoothly in Webflow, the client’s chosen CMS platform.

We also ensured these changes aligned with the brand identity we had created during the rebrand. The design system carried through the bold new visual language, tone of voice, and imagery approach developed in the brand project.

The Outcome

The result is a refreshed design direction that is immersive, intuitive, and future-ready - reinforcing Toffeln’s shift from footwear brand to trusted healthcare supplier.

Final Thoughts

For me, this project highlights the importance of consistency between brand and digital. The rebrand gave Toffeln the clarity and confidence to grow, and the website brings that story to life in a way their customers can see, feel, and interact with.
