The Challenge
In a highly competitive and regulated loans market, Bamboo needed to stand out not only with their products but with their customer experience. Their existing website was outdated, slow to load and lacked the warmth and clarity required to build trust with potential borrowers.
Having recently undergone a brand refresh, Bamboo wanted their new digital presence to capture the brand’s personality, reassure customers, and deliver a seamless user experience across devices.

Our Approach
We translated Bamboo’s rebrand into a digital experience that combined warmth with professionalism. Central to this was the introduction of ‘Boo’, the brand’s ambassador, whose presence on the site humanised the brand and built a friendlier dialogue with customers.
The design moved away from blocky, corporate layouts to incorporate curved elements, bold colour and engaging illustrations. Technically, the site was built to be device-agnostic and optimised for performance, with load times under one second. A digital toolkit was provided to empower Bamboo’s team to add new content while maintaining consistency.
Impact
The results were immediate and measurable. Site load speed improved by 65%, placing Bamboo in the top 15% of websites globally for performance. Conversion rates for loan applications rose by 12% within three months, while user surveys showed a 30% increase in trust and credibility scores.
The rebrand was fully realised online, helping Bamboo stand out in a crowded market and giving them a strong platform for growth.
